From Cabbage was just okay until I found this recipe. Not only is it tasty, it is unique and fun to make. Now that it’s grilling time again....give it a try!
Grilled Cabbage
1 head of cabbage Garlic powder (to taste) Salt and pepper (to taste) 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 (12-ounce) can light beer
Cut out the core of the
cabbage, making a lid with the core. Season the center of the
cabbage with garlic powder, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper.
Add the butter to the center. Pour the beer into the center and
replace the core lid. Wrap completely in several layers of foil and
place on a grill rack. Grill over medium heat for 1
hour. Serves 4
