DISTRIBUTION TIP

E-COMMERCE SALES WITH THE COOKBOOK MARKETPLACE

If you have a website for your organization or company, are you able to sell your title to those who visit your site?  If not, then we'd be glad to handle that for you!  With more and more people shopping via the web, this is just one more avenue for you to sell to your end consumer through our services. Simply place a hyperlink back to our website where your title is listed at your own website. That way, you still are able to service your consumer without the added expense and maintenance of selling and shipping from your own website.

To determine the website hyperlink for use at your website, simply visit cookbookmarketplace.com
and enter your title in the search engine. When your title appears in the right hand side of the screen, click on the small graphic which will take you to the full information address for ordering your title through us. The web address listed in the top “address line” is the address you'll need to reference as a hyperlink in your own website. (Your website administrator will know how to handle this for you.)

Don't miss Cookbook University 2006

The deadlines are fast approaching for Cookbook University 2006. Have you registered yet? Cookbook University is the best place to learn about all the aspects of self-publishing a cookbook. It also gives the information you need to improve your marketing plan and breathe life into an existing cookbook program. The FRP teaching staff will be on hand to share more than forty years of award-winning cookbook publishing experience and to answer your questions. One of the most valuable aspects of Cookbook University is the ability to network with other self-publishers from all over the country.

Here’s what some of our past attendees have had to say about their Cookbook University experience:

* The debut of A Perfect Setting has been a tremendous success because of the information we received at Cookbook University.  We are grateful that this opportunity was available to us.  Thank you for your guidance!

- Kathy Rollo, Junior League of Lubbock, TX

* With the help of FRP and Cookbook University we just published a fabulous cookbook!  The training we received at Cookbook University was invaluable.  Every time we had a question about who, what, when or how, we referred to our Cookbook University notebooks.  If the answer wasn't there, FRP was always accessible to supply the answer.  Thank you FRP and Cookbook University for making us look good!

- Cindy Jarrell, Junior League of High Point, NC

* FRP’s Cookbook University was a wonderful experience that sets your organization up to succeed. The peer to peer contact with others that are starting out with their first book, or being with the veterans of several published books was invaluable. We came home with a clear and concise road map to follow for compiling the book, handling pre-sales and overall marketing of our cookbook.

- Judy Dodd, Darien Communications, Inc. (Darien, GA)

* Cookbook University is an excellent spring board to a fascinating and exciting project of producing a cookbook. The information is specific, well presented and, believe it or not, lots of fun!  I really appreciated the time to ask questions and the thoroughness of the responses by a very experienced panel.

– Leslie Brennan, The Palace Café (New Orleans, LA)

* Cookbook University exceeded my expectations! Not only were the break-out sessions information packed but it also helped to talk to other attendees to get their marketing ideas.
- Cammie Jones, Junior League of Augusta, GA

Cookbook University will be held in Seattle, WA on March 27 & 28, 2006 (in conjunction with IACP's annual conference). Registration DEADLINE is March 10, 2006. Another Cookbook University will be held in Nashville, TN on April 25 & 26, 2006. Registration DEADLINE is March 27, 2006.

Both seminars are open to any group, individual author, or company looking to self-publish a cookbook, or to kick-start a cookbook marketing program.
