FRP Introduces Mad About Food

Nashville, TN — FRP (Favorite Recipes® Press), is pleased to announce the release of Mad About Food, the new cookbook from the Junior League of Madison, WI. This is the League’s first cookbook, designed to share hundreds of recipes and the reasons why residents are “mad about Madison.” Recipes include Cranberry Orange Bread (p. 59), One Pot Sausage Soup (p. 97), Pilgrim Pork Chops (p. 204) and Badger Cake (p. 268). Local flavor is sprinkled throughout Mad About Food. A chapter entitled “No Reservations” contains treasured recipes from 14 area restaurants. All recipes, except desserts and those from restaurants, include nutritional analysis.

Mad About Food is chalked full of cooking tips, area for notes, a glossary of cooking terms and other helpful information about the selections, such as is it freezable? Does it take extra time to prepare? Can it be made quickly? The cookbook also contains eight menus for several occasions. All recipes have been tested multiple times to ensure ease of preparation and successful outcomes.
