January 9, 2007

Favorite Recipes Press is pleased to announce that another of its custom-published cookbooks has earned international recognition. The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards announced recently that Margaret H. Dickenson’s new book (September 2006), Margaret’s Table: Easy Cooking and Inspiring Entertaining is the winner for Best Entertaining Cookbook English outside the U. S. and Europe. This prestigious award will be presented in a ceremony held in Beijing, China this April.

Margaret’s Table: Easy Cooking and Inspiring Entertaining gives home cooks strong encouragement to make the most out of ingredients and recipes on hand and to master basic recipes so that one doesn’t always have to start cooking from scratch. Lushly photographed and styled by Margaret herself and husband Larry Dickenson, with 150 carefully selected recipes designed to be doable and personal with step by step instructions, helpful “No Time, No Talent” recipe icons, and much more.

In addition to her new book, Margaret Dickenson is also the author of From the Ambassador’s Table, which was designated the best cookbook on entertaining at the World Cookbook Awards in 1998. Margaret is also the creator, host, and writer of a 26-episode lifestyle and cooking television show which aired for five seasons Rogers Cable Television stations throughout Canada.
